SUSTAINABILITY

Makers care about the impact we have on the environment. We buy our timber and materials from UK suppliers. Our wood is certified by either FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PFEC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) all sourced from sustainably managed forests. In our London workshop we keep and reuse as many offcuts as possible; 95% of our waste is recycled. We help you dispose of your old kitchen or furniture sustainably, whether selling it on, donating or recycling. What’s more, all the electricity used in our workshops, offices and showroom is generated from 100% renewable sources.
